Hi Gregg:

I have a Milano alternator on my '74 Spider and it works great, one of the 
best mods I've ever made.  However, in my case there were some small wiring 
mods that I needed to do.  The Milano alternator had a built-in regulator, 
while the OEM Spider had an external one.  Isn't the same true on your car?
