Mo' Power (was superchargers, EFI, et al)

Does anyone but me remember the Jafco turbo?  It was designed by Howard
Jackson and, I believe, Gary Fortner (could be wrong on the second
name).  It blew threw a welded up Spica airbox and they used the Spica
system with some modification.  This was done in Orange County CA back
in the late 70's.  Howard passed away many years ago, don't know what
became of the other gentleman.  I was but a wide eyed Alfa driving teen
at the time.  I would go to Howard's Costa Mesa shop and druel over all
the stuff he had in there.

I would love to hear if any one on the digest has any knowledge or
experience with this system.
