Milano overheat

	Alan,
All of the Verde Milano's have this same problem
here in Houston. They are fine without the A/C, but in bumper to bumper
traffic with the A/C during the hot months ( April to Sept ) with 95+
outside temp and almost 100% humidity these cars overheat. We have tried
everything you listed in your post. The next solution is to install an oil
cooler. From what I have learned from the IT car, the oil gets hot and does
not cool down as fast as the coolant does. With prolonged heat build up from
stop and go traffic, the oil gets so hot that it starts to thin out ( as
evidenced by the lower oil pressure). One of my next projects is to install
an oil cooler in a Verde. All 4 valve 3.0 and the S SOHC 3.0 have some sort
of factory oil cooler.

Subject: Milano overheat

Here are the specifics one more time:

1. New radiator (about 8 months ago)
2. Lower temp fan switch
3. New hoses
4. New Thermostat
5. 60/40 water/coolant mix
6. Water wetter
7. Fan is working
8. Gauges check out

The problem only comes up when the AC is on. Otherwise it can be 105
degrees, sitting in NYC traffic and the it'll never move past 175 degrees.
I'm adding the Aux fan in hopes that since its related to the AC it'll solve
the problem.

Any suggestions welcome

Alan
