Re:piece of crap junker

I can only second this philosophy. My daily driver is an'85 VW GTI 
(manual) Its WWD (Wrong Wheel Drive), has 4-wheel disc brakes, and is so 
disreputable looking that most of my friends won't be seen in it. OTOH, 
it handles well (for WWD car), runs perfectly, uses no appreciable oil, 
and I just don't care what happens to it. Total, guiltless transport.
