flexi pipe, clutch pivot pin and BWA wheels

I forget at the moment who first mentioned Exhaust Products, Inc., with
their many flexi pipes, and fitted them to 164., etc. Anyway, thanks
to that mention, I have been yapping with Rich and he is helping me fit
them to older Italian exhaust systems, such as Alfa 1750, Lancia
Fulvia, etc. In these cars, sometimes the exhaust gasket between the
header and the downpipes fails with a certain regularity, I think its
simply because the entire exhaust system is torquing, flexing the gasket
into failure. So, time will tell if the flex pipes work miracles or
not....

On my Milano Verde, I was returning home last night and just entering
the neighborhood, the clutch pedal developed this awful ratchedy feel
to it, it left me the impression that the clutch pivot pin was perhaps
fractured and is about to totally fail. So, I need to know how to dig
it out also, I don't think its a case of loss of hydraullic pressure in
the master or slave cylinder, but maybe.

Searching Google, I came onto the BWA wheel site. Man, they are
offering a ton of wheels for the current Alfa lineup. Though, I have
not yet discerned who would be importing them into the US. Just a
caution, I searched in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape seemed
incapable of accessing this particular site.

Ciao, Jay
