Re: Spider headers
Don't really see the problem with the headers from the Virginian vendor. We
use them successfully on competition cars producing 150 bhp from 1300, 170
bhp from 1600 and 200 bhp from 2000 Alfa engines. We've had to shorten the
headers on the 1300 installations and bend them to clear floor mounted
pedals, but they work well. I've installed several sets recently on Bosch
injected Spiders grafting the collector into the front of the stock
converter with good results.
We've dyno'd headers from California, Georgia and Virginia (as well as
Italy) and there is not as much difference ON A STREET TUNED engine as there
is on competition engines. You pay your money and you take your choice...
