can they whitelist an address?
reason being that the digest is set up with a very nice piece of software
calle demime which strips all attachments before passing mail onto the
readership. the chances of the digest actually carrying a virus are
basically nil.
if they can whitelist the sender of alfa-digest, then it can get through.
if not, then their firewall is overly restricted in my view, but it's not
really my security policy to set, so my opinion is not really worth much.
i am trying to block known text strings associated with viruses, but i
don't known them all and some will inevitably leak through.
