Richard,
i have no experience with the 4 piece trim,
but with the 2 piece, i found that the only
way i could get them on was with the glass
out of the car :
wrap the rubber around the glass, push the
trim into the rubber, then install the assembly
onto the car frame using a string.
i tried installing the trim with the glass on the
car using soapy water for lubricant, even using
a big rubber mallet and two helpers, but i could
only succeed in getting one side on. this
appeared to tighten up the gap enough that i
could not install the second half.
if anyone out there has had better luck, i would
also be interested to hear !
