re: Torsion Bar Installation

Don't your torsion bars and your car have markings on them showing which splines to line up for stock ride height? If so, rotate the bars one notch AT BOTH ENDS for every 1.5mm of desired change in ride height. Although I suppose that doesn't neccessarily work with stiffer bars...hmm... Have you tried calling AR Ricambi (nee Shankle)? (800)225-2532, Pacific time zone, I think.

Subject: Torsion Bar Installation

Hello,

I am installing a set of Shankle 27.3mm torsion bars
this weekend. My car is totally apart. Does any one
have dimensions of what angle their control arm was at
of how far from the fender lip to provide a 1-1/2 to 2
inch lowered ride height.
