re:Honing



It seems as if the gap is small enough using new rings (say less than .025"), then the honing the cylinder would work, wouldn't it?

One should measure the liner diameter, and make sure that its within the specs of the engine...  But it does seem as if the ring is high enough tension, has the right gap, it should work fine.

We re-used the original pistons and liners with Total Seal rings in the $2002 challenge Spider, so far no problems.  No idea of the mileage of the engine...
