Years ago, I installed a/c in my '67 Giulia Sedan.  The unit was an
underdash from the junk yard with a older style piston compressor but it
worked.  The weak point were that I did not design the compressor mounting
bracket sturdy enough and I realized that I needed to change the drier also,
but the Giulia's cooling system seem to be up to it and this was in Texas.
I would think at this point that aftermarket units might be
