I second the motion for IAP's "dash carpet." However, since my dash is in 
great shape (I just wanted to eliminate glare and keep the sun off the dash) 
I just tucked the far edge of the "carpet" between the dash and the 
windshield, and it hgas stayed in place just fine with plenty of clearance 
for the dash-top vents. And no, I didn't have to remove anything.

I would also say that IF you wanted to attach it to the dash with more 
security, that you *WILL* need gobs more velcro than comes from the factory.
