We were lucky this weekend that the hills were shrouded in cooling coastal 
fog and the weather for the Convention was very comfortable; this started 
clearing out on Sunday and the last few days have been way hotter.  Moral: 
every cloud has its silver lining.  Some also come with smog, but that's 
another story.
