Hi all..
Well, we may be getting closer to actually getting a car.. Looked at a
nice 77 Spider, was in pretty good shape,
hardly any visible rust except for a moderate hole in the spare tire
area.. (battery in trunk year) Had a pretty good ding in the nose.. and
the bumpers were not pretty. Straight, but not pretty.. but oh well..
One thing though, the tach was acting up.. would seem to work OK below
3500-4000, then would leap up past 6000 when the engine is obviously
still down around 4500. What can you do about this, besides replace
the gauge? Are these still mechanical in a 77?
Jon and Marcia - MAYBE soon to not be Alfaless in Irvine...
