F.0.S. Ferraris On 12th
The Perrina family put together lovely event today. The annual Ferraris on
12th was great. There was a strong showing of Alfas. Steve's GTA and a
gorgeous Guilia Super being my favorites of the day.
12th Ave was packed with Ferraris, Alfas, Maseratis, Panteras, and a
lonesome Lancia. There were some other marques...uh...who let in the Viper
and NSX? Oh well...I'm not a big fan but hey, it's about cars, so what the
heck.
Our local news, Komo 4, even covered it.
The highlight for me was when we all got ready to head out to Mercer Island,
aka Whitey World. Hearing all those fine Italian steeds fire up was thee
most beautiful music...ever. Although on take-off there was a bit of an
accident. I got to see what I think was a 308 rear end a brand new Maserati.
Ouch! BTW, the exhaust notes on the Panteras is incredible. They sound
dangerous.
I just want to thank F.0.S. and the Perrina family for putting together such
a fun event.
If you didn't got this year, you have to go next year.
I'll post my photos in a bit.
Later,
Damian
