Koni dampers for Sale

Hi Digesters,

I once asked my local dealer of Koni dampers the precise question that is
being debated in this digest- ie. whether the adjustibility feature on Koni's
is designed to allow compensation for wear, or whether it exists to allow the
purchaser to adjust the dampers to the hardness or softness level of their
liking. His response was to shrug his shoulders and say "I am not really
sure". Admittedly, this fellow was a Koni reseller rather than the official
Australian importer. My conclusion: Koni Australia needs some smarter
salespeople to sell their product.
I cant help thinking that an appropriately directed e-mail to Koni's technical
department would clear up this issue once and for all.

Anyway, by pure coincidence I happen to have a set of used Koni Red dampers,
surplus to my requirements, for sale. They will suit all 116 Alfetta GTV/Sedan
cars, and I believe GTV6 cars up to 1985. In very good condition, with all
fittings etc. Asking $180 Aussie dollars for the set, plus shipping. If any US
