You Are Robusto???

  Given the considerable vitriol directed at GM for their cops & robbers
Impala ad that casts the 164 in a poor light, I was sure that someone would
have picked up on yet another blasphemous television ad by now.  I suppose
we've all been transfixed by the GTV6 tea tray debate.  I also suppose that
I've been watching too much television....
   I'm referring to the new Ragu Spaghetti Sauce ad, wherein the announcer
speaks to a young man who is eating pasta.  "You do not eat ordinary
spaghetti sauce - you are Robusto!"  Our pasta-eating hero is then shown in
a number of quick cuts, surrounded by beautiful dark haired women in various
Italian settings.  Naturally, our Robusto young man is eventually shown with
a wind-whipped scarf around his neck, driving through the Italian
countryside in his sports car which, naturally, is a......an.....an.....
E-TYPE JAGUAR??????.   As Bob Dole once said, "Where's the outrage?".
