Hellebore steering wheel
There was one on my '65 GTA when I bought it. It is a correct GTA wheel,
one of several which came on these cars. It's 14" diameter, has 4 holes in
the spokes, and no metal sandwich between the wood, making it a very
flexible steering wheel, which is why I replaced it for vintage racing. The
wheel looks great on my wall.
It has V.G. Hellebore engraved on the right side spoke.
The GTA is going to get its first alignment this Tuesday. Going for a bit
of toe-in.
I'm also replacing the rear trailing arms, putting the earlier small-bushing
ones back on. I'm having a bit of difficultry removing the rear bushings,
just a matter of finding the right dummy tools to use in the press.
Cheers,
