MILANO ABS PUMP PROBLEM

The antilock light on my 88 Milano with 146+K comes on intermittently and
when it is hot ( both engine temp and ambient temp) I can hear the pump
running constantly. The accumulator was replaced a year ago. I called ALGAR
a local former dealer and they advise the pump is no longer available and
they had no information about rebuilding the pump.Other than converting to
standard brakes, any advice on troubleshooting this. Does anyone have any
experience converting to standard brakes?
