Twin Spark
Alfa 75 Twinspark are quite common in EU. I think it was a model that sold
well there. When I was working at FIAT, in Romania, one of the guys I was
talking to, was a long time owner of a 75 TS. He refered to it as "more of an
ecological breakthrough, than a noticeable power improvement". His opinion
was confirmed to me by a second owner later.
If i'm right, the "second generation" TS 16 valve motors (that were available
beginning with the new Spider) were a different story, even the spark plugs
were of different size, one bigger on centre and one smaller offset.
Though, I think those 75 TS had what Alfa called "variatore di fase"
associated with the ignition system, it oftenly broke down and mechanics had
a hard time figuring what was wrong (well, that's in Romania, where the
diagnostic systems for the unit were hard to find).
