You'll probably get this answer several times, but put the stock exhaust on.
The exhaust systems are tuned for the motors and I don't think the boys at
Meineke can do better than the engineers at Alfa.  With that said, I don't
know what year your Spider is.  If you could go with a pre-emissions exhaust
system without catalytic converters, you would have a more drivable car
without a performance loss.
