Need some help with engine markings

I am going to sell a spare engine block I have on ebay. I believe it to be a
1600 engine, and I do have some Alfa reference material but I can not seem
to find what kind of engine it is for sure.

The numbers on the block are:

AR*00526*41094*

There may be some leading zeros in front of the 41094 that I did not copy
(are they relevent?).

My reference book makes me thing that it is a 1600 block from a Giulia Super
because it is a type 526 block, but the serial number is way below what the
serial numbers are supposed to start at, so I really don't know what to make
of all this.

Any knowledgeable people that can help on this?
