Re: gel cells in trunk mounted battery applications
that's one option i've considered, which i think eric storhok has used already. unfortunately, i just bought a new Optima battery last year, and hate to spend another $150 for a new battery. the optima will fit in the spider trunk, at the small ledge in back, on it's side. that's what i'm leaning towards.
cheers,

while doing my various and sundry tech inspection duties for the SCCA, i've
observed that Miatas come with a small gel cell stock, mounted in the
trunk.
