V6 transaxle breather

Hello,

Has anyone here ever fitted a breather/catch tank to their V6 transaxle? 
I have located the breather vent on the top of the transaxle, and found
that the breather vent is a press-fit tube with a screen in the top of
it.  I race the car and there seems to be a requirement for a catch
tank.  Given that some of you out there have described boiling off your
tranny oil, it seemed like this might be a good idea.
