GTV6 Lrg steering boot removal procedure

Remove wheel
Pull end link boot back. Be careful , no longer available.
Bend lock tabs back.
Unscrew end link.
Remove dampener bracket and dampener.
Throw dampener in garbage. No longer available.
Boot is clamped from end of alum housing to dampener bracket.
If you want to replace end link because of play in ball joint, the new
end link stud is not long enough to accommodate dampener bracket.  Drill
out bracket and weld to end link after fully tightening.
