88 spider not starting

Sometimes our spider will not start. I think it might be  low voltage to
electronics during cranking of engine. I seem to remember this being
discussed
here. She never dies while running. Drove to and from work Fri and would
not start later that evening. Charged overnight 0.5 amp and started next
morning. Battery and alternator are both fairly new. Could it be the voltage
reg, bad ground etc? Please give me some ideas.
