I know that you can drill a hole behind the license plate and trigger the
latch mechaism to open the trunk. Hopefully someone on the digest has a copy
of the template that is used to cut the hole. I don't have mine anymore.

Isn't there a "secret" trunk release method for a 78 Spider if the trunk
handle/cable breaks?  Thanks for any info.
