cleaning weber's accel pump jet

Hey All,
I'm fighting an old problem. I've got my webers off my 1600, and I'm
testing the accel. pump circuit. The stream exiting the carbs is
inconsistent, and weak. I have cleaned the entire circuit out, the piston
and passages, and even sonicated the actual pump jet a while back. I can
see the fuel enter the wells that the jets reside in (when removed), so the
delivery seems ok. Perhaps the accel. pump jets are just seriously gummed
up. I have a few extra jets (size 35), and will mix and match those
tomorrow to see what the effect is. Anyone had this problem?
How many others test this? With the carb off, I simply open the throttle,
and observe and compare the streams that come out. Gotta have this perfect
before they go on the car, or else she's a bitch to start, and performance
suffers everywhere!

I should be able to start her sometime during this coming week. It's been 8
months. I'm ready.
