Pro-Am Discussion

Hello All,

I've been reading, with great interest, the discussion of
"do-it-yourself" versus "hiring out".  Certainly there is no one correct
answer for all to this question.  The balance between time, money,
family, interest level and skill level is different for each of us.  To
my mind, the best solution is the combination of those elements which
results in the greatest inner peace and self-satisfaction.  If you
family is shorted your attention or needed resources as you pursue your
hobby, you really haven't accomplished much in improving your overall
life through your leisure activities.  I think balance is the trick.  As
was indicated in previous postings, we only go around once.  What makes
the most satisfiying ride is often difficult to figure out.

By the way, the Alfa content... some of the above I've learned the hard
way through the, almost completed, restoration of my 1974 Spider.
