to replace the rear emblem you open the trunk, remove a few of the plastic
tabs that secure the trunk liner and fold the trunk liner back so you can
get access to the lock mechanism. If you look at the back of your new
assembly, you will notice that there is part that rotates. You just need
to rotate that part on the mechanism that is on the car and the emblem
will come loose. You can then rotate the whole mechanism and remove it
from OUTSIDE the trunk. Put your new emblem in place and push the
rotating piece until the emblem is snug. Hope this makes sense. It is a 5
minute job.
