Brake fluid on 164

I tried to post 2 days ago, but, AOL...
First, the 164 cardisk, TSB section warns against synthetic brake fluid.
Second, on my 164, the brake fluid loss (reduction of level in the tank 
beyond what's normal with pads wear) was because of microfractures in the 
hose that goes to clutch slave cylinder. they were causing a fine fog of 
fluid in the beginning, with each step on clutch, and I could not find the 
problem untill the cracks got big enough to squirt fluid when stepping on 
clutch
