Wiper airfoils

The airfoil goes on the driver's wiper arm. There is a high pressure area 
at the base of the windshield, concentrated at the center somewhat 
dependent upon wind direction, which can eventually overwhelm the 
aerodynamics of the regular wiper blade and cause wiper chatter at the 
lower end of the wiper sweep.

I have found that the newer Bosch blades are sufficiently aerodynamic that 
no additional airfoil is needed, so I use identical blades for driver and 
passenger sides.

Besides, it's a good idea to slow down in heavy rain... say to below 100 mph!
