Making POR 15 Last Longer

I've just bought some small cans of POR 15 for a few rusty jobs that need
attending to.  From what I've read on tthe POR website, this stuff cures by
reaction with moisture in the air (please correct me if I'm wrong here!).

Silastic-type silicones also cure this way - I keep half-used tubes in a
Tupperware container with silica gel dessicant.  They will easily last for
a couple of years this way.

Is this a storage solution for half-used cans of POR?

Just a thought!
