New shoes for Duetto ( or tired Tire thread continued )
Greetings Alfisti !
I've been thinking of getting some new wheels and tires for my Duetto. I'm
currently running Centerline springs f&r, Koni reds, rear swaybar, slight
negative camber, and a chassis stiffener but the car is shod with
Michelin 165/15 on stock steel rims. The car could definitely stand some
more and stickier rubber on the road.
A few digests ago someone forwarded a link for a Falken tire ( Azenis sport
) that looks very promising, but the only size applicable to the car is
195/60-14. Has anyone used this size before ? I know it's a bit small, but
my current tires are a bit large so I'm off either way. I would have to
acquire another set of wheels though.
I could step up to a 15" and there are a lot of high-perf tires in the
195/55-15 size. But that would mean an investment in new Panasports, and
therefore big $$.
If I stick with 14's I could dig up a set of Turbina's. There are lots of
ideas.
If anyone has a comment ( or some nice rims for sale ???? ) please email me
at: [email protected] or just respond to the digest.
Mille Grazie,
Dan Walker
