Current through ignition switch

Hey cats,

Does anyone know the current draw through the 
ignition switch to the starter? (Alfetta) I'm
gonna install one of them push botton switches
on my dash, since the ignition switch is causing
me intermittent problems (almost had to sit out
the Sears Point track tour). At my local parts
store, I find a neat little 10Amp button, and
a big ol' rubber coated 60Amp one. The diagrams
show a thick "2.5" wire from the switch to the
solenoid. Any info appreciated.
