One method for filling the transmission that I didn't see mentioned is to
just use the tall gear lube container - stick the tip into the filler hole
and squeeze. It's not the easiest thing, the angle is all wrong, but you
can typically get about half the bottle in this way. Do that with a couple
of bottles, merge the contents of the two half empty bottles, continue.
I'm still looking for an elegant hand pump.
