Hi Eric,

Adjusting the idle on a 3.0 should be the same as the 2.5. It's on the
side of the plenum. As far as I know the only solenoid in the engine
bay is on the firewall for the A/C. 

Where is this solenoid you see? On the pass. side cam cover? Did the
previous owner put in a motronic EFI with the idle valve (solenoid) in
there?
