I would be surprised if your car has the wheel arch mounting points and not
the seat base ones or proper reinforced mounts on the rear shelf. I'd have
another look - the seat base ones may well be covered by the sound proofing
under the seat, but if you look under the car you will see the backing
plates and captive nuts if they are there. In my case I had to poke
something sharp up from underneath to locate the holes, then dig away the
soundproofing on the inside. There were also reinforced regions with
captive nuts on the rear shelf - these should be able to be seen from inside
the boot. Does yours just have holes there?

Kids are not an acceptable reason to sell a GT/V! :-)) My two boys have
been carted around in mine since they were babies. I could even fit a
folding cot in the boot. I did add an additional anchor point to the rear
shelf for a "tether" strap that came out from the back of one of their car
seats.
