RE spica weber swap

Having owned both spica sedans and alfettas and spica/weber conversions,
I would have to recommend  removal of the A/C and smog stuff and leave the
Spica. Unless one plans on radical cams and pistons, the spica system works
very well.
The sound of the webers is seductive but they really don't boost power over a
well tuned spica
system. My 79 Alfetta has over 100K and I have'nt  touched the spica once I
adjusted the
Shankle sure start that replaced the original cold start mechanism.
