re: Milano clutch woes
My 87 had the master and slave cylinders replaced about Nov. since the car
was (and is) in the posession of my father, when the clutch starting
having problems he identified the source as the master cylinder. Once the
mechanic had it and the master was finally replaced, there were still
some minor problems and we had to replace the slave as well. Once
both were replaced, everything was solid again. It appears this is at
least one Milano slave that failed, though I don't remember what the
actual failure was. I was just happy to hear (and in December when I got
to drive it, feel) that everything was working and solid after they were
replaced.
