S. F. Mini day? & Fuse follow-up

I don't  know what was going on in San Francisco this morning around 9 AM,
but the new Minis were out in droves. Within just about 5 minutes I must
have seen about a dozen (I counted) yellow Minis and 4 to 6 red ones. When
I got to the other end of town I saw another red one - only as I went past
I realized this was the real Mini and not one of the new ones. :)

Anyone know if all these Minis driving around S.F. (on Lombard, all going
towards the Golden Gate or Marina) were a planned event or what?

Thanks for all the help on the fuse #5 of my Spider. I don't know how long
that fuse has had aluminum foil on it, but when I unwrapped it, it was a
16A fuse.

I couldn't find the plastic bullets, but I did find BUSS GBS
(German/European) glass fuses in 8 and 16 amp varieties. They look to be
the same length, though the glass fuses have a larger diameter body. The
tips look about the same shape. It looks like these should be direct
replacements.

Can anyone confirm or deny if these (BP/GBC-16 and BP/GBC-8 - 16 and 8
amp) fuses are direct replacements for the plastic bullet fuses in 74
spiders (presumably other models too)?
