if the car has 60k on the original belts you're living
on borrowed time.  don't drive it until you've
replaced them, unless you want to be $5k poorer.

i believe most people recommend 30-45k miles intervals
to be safe.  

do you have any idea who used to service the car?  you
might be able to call and see if they have record of
it's replacement.
