GTV wiper motor

A google search of the digest archives failed me on this one, perhaps
someone on the list can assist?
The wiper motor on my 1750 GTV failed (in a blizzard, middle of the night,
300 kms from home: Wellington New Zealand) and I'm having difficulty
finding a replacement. It is burnt out and the armature is worn past
usefulness.  Does anyone know if a Berlina wiper motor is interchangeable
with the GTV unit? HOw have listers solved this one?
