Not for long, I hope. :-) I find myself in the
interesting position of representing a cartel of
Portland buyers (one of which is me) who are all keen
to have this car. Since I'm in the Bay Area at the
moment, Andrew and I are planning to meet at an
undisclosed time and place (so don't y'all go buy it
out from under us, y'heah? :-)
I feel honor bound, however, to point out that there
is an EXCELLENT candidate for the $2003 challenge on
eBay at the moment:

It's a '74 Spider roller, currently at $404, with
about a day left to go. Good cream paint, stripped,
with an Autopower race bar (read: probably won't clear
a folding top); has suspension and rear axle but no
engine, transmission, or seats. Looks very sharp; I
entertained thoughts of buying it myself, as for not
much more than $2003 it would make a solid and
attractive vintage racer (at least for the clubs near
me that permit cars from 1974 in Vintage, that is).
