Manual Tranny oil in 164

Hi guys,

It's high time I changed the oil in my 164LS (Super).  The owners manual 
recommends ATF, but the last mechanic that worked on the car (besides 
myself) said a bulletin had gone out mentioning dino-oil as being as good 
for the 'box as any.

Mine currently has brand-name dino 75W90.

I was thinking of switching to Redline, since I've had good luck with the 
75W90NS plus the Limited Slip additive (Thanks Gerry!).  But before I make 
a similar mistake - i.e. putting the 75W90 instead of the NS+LS additive 
into the 75, which of the two do I pick?

Or perhaps I should look at Amsoil?  How about Swepco (model 201, 203 or 
210)?  Perhaps some other brand?

Car is an urban assault vehicle, with lots of 1-2-3 shifting.
