And almost gets me busted! Yeah that's right folks, a terror has been
unleashed on public roads ;-) I took a quick rip around the block last
night after finishing up some more work at midnight. Just as soon as I
had returned to the garage & shut the door, a copper came storming
through my neighborhood, no doubt looking for who was causing all the
racket. I thought I had the exhaust bent back just enough so it would
rattle like crazy, but as soon as it was under load it was incredibly
loud!! There is a nice twisty section on the other side of the 'hood
that I let loose through, why not ;-) She felt pretty good, nice power,
steering felt solid, handling. This is the second Alfetta GT that's
caused someone to call the cops because of excessive noise. Nothing
wrong with a little hot roddin' is there?
Taking her in tonight for an alignment & to fix the exhaust. Tomorrow
night will be to finish up an last details & then early Saturday a.m. is
the first NWARC track event, a driver's training school. Weather
forecast is for a ton of rain, should be a good time!!
