Hi mileage Alfas

It would be interesting to know what parts on these hi mileage Alfa's are
original parts. My 91 Spider w/auto and 193,000+ (s)miles, has never had
anything done to the inside of the motor or head, other than vale
adjustments. It has the original water, universal joints, rear end, fan
motors, power steering pump, and steering box.

I have rebuilt the front and rear suspension, replaced the shocks, and the
center support bearing, the original u-joints were still good, at 192,000
miles. The automatic transmission went out at 181,000 miles and it runs
better now than it ever has. It seems the more miles I put on it the better
it runs, and it still sees at least 5,000+ RPM every day.

Let hear from all the hi mileage Alfa and compare notes.
