A few track sessions ago, I got the transaxle sufficiently hot to boil
out some Redline oil in my GTV-6. (Needless to say, it got on the
exhaust, made a LOT of smoke, and had me convinced the engine had gone,
but that's another story.)
The question--Does getting a synthetic oil hot enough to boil out do
anything destructive to the compound--Do I need to drain and refill??
