Vent Window Glue

John Gallagher asked. Anyone know what glue to use to reattach the vent 
window latches on a
Spider? Thanks.

John I've tried, my mechanic tried, and we both gave up.  I know of three 
other AROC South Florida Member with the same problem.

If anyone has  a solution..Please help John and I.

I was thinking of having a hole drilled in installing a nice chrome 
fastener from the out side in.  This way if someone wants to get into my 
car they can just use a screwdriver and not brake a window or cut my 
top.  I this doable, can safety glass be drilled?
