Yes.  Single circuit brakes with one vacuum booster continued to be used on
LHD Euro- (and most-of-rest-of-world-) market cars until the pendant pedal
system was introduced in 1970.  The dual circuit system with under-floor
hydraulics and two boosters was a stopgap for limited markets with special
requirements: the US, because of regulations requiring dual circuit
plumbing sooner than anywhere else;  and LHD countries, because of, well,
LHD.
